This ensures zero lag when rendering complex maps and allows your field teams to instantly upload rich data, 48MP site photos, and reports to the cloud.
Never let a dead battery halt site work again. The Archer 4 features an internal 300 mAh backup battery that keeps the device running while you hot-swap the main removable battery (available in 4500 mAh standard or 8300 mAh extended capacities) right there in the field, meaning zero downtime.
British weather won't slow you down. The vibrant 6.26-inch FHD+ display is protected by chemically strengthened Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It features a specialised "wet-touch" capacitive interface, meaning the screen responds perfectly even when covered in rain or when the user is wearing heavy work gloves.

What does "hot-swappable" battery mean?
It means you can change a depleted battery for a fully charged one without turning the device off. The Archer 4 has a tiny internal backup battery that keeps the system running for a few minutes while you swap the main battery, ensuring you never lose unsaved field data or drop your GNSS connection.
Can I use the Archer 4 for high-accuracy surveying?
Out of the box, the Archer 4 provides standard 2-4 metre GPS accuracy, which is perfect for general GIS tasks. However, by adding the optional GNSS Expansion Pod and an RTK network subscription, it transforms into an all-in-one precision tool capable of 1.5cm accuracy.
Will my current Android software run on the Archer 4?
Yes. The device is fully GMS (Google Mobile Services) certified and runs Android 14. You have full access to the Google Play Store to download industry-standard apps like ESRI Field Maps, QGIS, or Juniper's own Uinta mapping software.
